Board to conduct DMET in MP

Bhopal, Aug 25 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has decided that the Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (Professional Examinations Board) would henceforth organise the Dental and Medical Entrance Test (DMET) for the state's private colleges.

Applications of candidates who appeared for DMET 2006 would be made available to the board whose controller has been issued guidelines, an official release said today.

The board was directed to organise the test such in a manner that the results are announced by September 26, 2006 and counselling is completed by September 30.

A Judge's Committee earlier cancelled the August 13 DMET organised by the Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges, in the wake of alleged irregularities.
