US plane incident not terrorism: Dutch minister

Amsterdam, Aug 24: Dutch Justice Minister Piet Hein Donner today said the return of a US Northwest Airlines plane bound for India to Amsterdam after suspicious passenger behaviour did not seem to be terrorism related.

''Up until now it does not appear to be terror related,'' Dutch ANP news agency quoted the minister as saying.

Police arrested 12 of the 149 passengers on flight 42 to Mumbai, which turned back to Amsterdam yesterday due to security concerns after the crew reported suspicious behaviour.
