Two students drowned while bathing in river

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 24 (UNI) Two engineering students of the American Engineering Technology at Nedumangadu drowned in the Vamanapuram river in the district today.

The deceased were identified as Shafeeq (19) and Shajith (18) of Nedumangadu.

The tragedy occurred when they went for a swim along with other classmates in the river at Kurunthali, police said.
