Rupee opens flat at Rs 46.53/55/USD

Mumbai, Aug 24: Indian currency today opened flat at Rs 46.53/55 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.54 per US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid morning trade rupee was trading at the opening rate.

The stock market however opened in the red by 39 points and is currently trading 84 .31 down points at 11,322.34 points.
