Five kg opium seized

Jaipur, Aug 24 (UNI) Narcotics Control Bureau today seized over five kg of opium from a vehicle in Bhilwara district and arrested two people in this connection.

According to Narcotics Control Bureau, Jodhpur, sleuths on a tip off put up checkposts between Mandalgarh dak banglaw and Ladpura junction.

Two people in a jeep tried to cross the railways crossing on red light. The police chased them and nabbed two occupants of the vehicle. The police recovered 5.3kg of opium and a revolver from their possession.
