Building collapses in Pakistani city

ISLAMABAD, Aug 24 (Reuters) Several floors of a shopping arcade under construction collapsed in the Pakistani city of Lahore today, but there was no immediate word on casualties, police said.

''A few stories on top of the six-storey building collapsed.

We have no information about casualties yet,'' said city policeman Sardar Shah.

Private Geo Television said several people were buried in the rubble.
