Bayer CropScience to stop production at Thane unit

New Delhi, Aug 24 (UNI) Bayer CropScience Ltd today decided to stop manufacturing its products and of Bayer Healthcare at its Thane unit from next year.

''This was decided by the company's Board of Directors.'' it said in a statement.

However, the company clarified that the ''cessation'' of manufacturing and related activities at Thane is not a closure of the company's undertaking.

It said this is a strategic decision to enhance synergies in their respective production activities for the Indian market.
