NTPC signs MoU with Singareni Collieries Company

Mumbai, Aug 23: The state owned National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singareni Collieries Company Ltd for creation of a Joint Venture Company to undertake various activities in coal and power sectors.

In a notice to BSE, the Company said the MoU for JV with Singareni Collieries also include acquisition of coal mines, development and operation of integrated coal based plants and providing consultancy services.
