Eight awarded life imprisonment

Sasaram, Aug 23 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to eight accused in connection with a murder case.

Presiding officer of a fast track court Pradeep Nath Tiwari sentenced the eight accused to rigorous life imprisonment after they were found guilty.

The convicts had kidnapped and subsequently murdered prosperous farmer Ramji Pandey at Dhandhua village under Karakat police station on February 11, 1991 in Rohtas district.
