Viral fever claims two lives in MP

Vidisha, MP, Aug 22: Two people have died and 65 were taken ill because of viral fever at Pauanala village in this district's Nateran tahsil, official sources said today.

Villagers said the death resulted due to drinking contaminated water. The whole village was in the grip of fever.

District Collector R K Mathur confirmed that two deaths had taken place. He added that the SDM, tahsildar and a medical team had been dispatched for the affected village.
