Two arrested for raping student

Itanagar, Aug 22 (UNI) Two persons have been arrested by police at Jairampur under Arunachal's Changlang district on August 17 last allegedly for outraging the modesty of an 18-year class-XII girl student of Nampong.

According to police sources, the two, identified as Sonar and Morang, lured the young girl to a house and sexually assaulted her.

The duo brought her back to the rented house and satisfied their carnal desire again, according to the statement of the victim.

Police acted promptly on a complaint and arrested the duo, sources informed adding a case had been registered and the girl sent for medical examination.
