New Rediffmail available in 11 Indian languages
Mumbai, Aug 22: Rediff.com India Limited, one of the leading worldwide online provider of news, information, communication, entertainment and shopping services today announced the launch of the 'new lightning fast Rediffmail', its all new web-based email service, packed with powerful features, available in 11 Indian languages.
To ensure that new Rediffmail remains 'lightning fast', it is packed with desk-top email like features such as instant preview of mails and attachments, drag&drop facility for mails to any folder, search for emails or attachments and auto-completion of email IDs by simply typing a few characters. The new Rediffmail allows users to execute many email tasks on the first page itself - such as create folders to organise mails, manage contacts through enhanced address book feature and manage profiles that interfaces directly with Rediff BOL (Instant Messenger).
Rediff.com also announced that it is introducing 'Smart Mail Service' for Rediffmail users, which will enable them to send and receive email alerts on their mobile phones, to capitalize on the rapidly growing mobile subscriber base in India.
