Maoists gearing up to combat army personnel

Patna, Aug 22: Maoists top leaders are gearing up to fight against the actions of the retired army personnel hired to curb left wing extremism in Bihar.

According to a document of the Maoists, the Centre as well as state government had chalked out a plan to crush their activities in their stronghold with the help of the army and the Indian Air Force.

However, the plan is still to get the final shape.

The document further said that the government of Bihar headed by Nitish Kumar had constituted Special Auxiliary Police (SAP) comprising retired army personnel.

Expressing serious concern over the formation of SAP, the Maoists said the group was being used for policing too. In the pamphlet, the Maoists leader said the SAP was more experenced than the special state police, including BMP and STF.

Expert in tactics of war, the SAP was also mentally more prepared to stay away from their homes and native places for a long period with a commitment to complete the assigned responsibilities.

SAP was the brainchild of Mr Nitish Kumar said the maoists and threatened to intensify their revolutionary actions in order to expose Mr Kumar. Lastly the Maoists appealed to the retired army personnel and their family members not to stand in the way of their revolutionary war.
