Kumaraswamy denies crack b/w coalition partners
Mudhol (Karnataka), Aug 22: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today denied that there were any difference of opinion either between him and his Cabinet colleagues, or between the coalition partners -- JD(S) and BJP.
Talking to newspersons at Uttur village, near here, he said ''the Coordination Committee of the coalition partners will be meeting on August 24 in Bangalore just to discuss among ourselves.'' To a question, Mr Kumaraswamy said that barring a few seniors, most of the Ministers were new to their job and he proposed to hold a meeting of his Cabinet colleagues outside the Secretariat soon to discuss their work and difficulties. It would be followed by a meeting of officials and top bureaucrats.
''Bureaucracy is of three types, including the routine one and the one with some doubts following media reports on stability of the coalition Government. That affected the work sometimes. It's a sort of confidence building act,'' the Chief Minister said.
On BJP MLC G Janardhan Reddy's threat to release the VCD evidence against him relating to the bribery charge, he said ''I have the experience of film production and know a lot on production of video cassettes of films. Let him come out with what he had.''
