Fake currency racket busted

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 21 (UNI) West Godavari district today busted a fake currency racket and arrested two people in this connection at Jeelugumilli village.

Police said G Balakrishna (28) and Shaik Bhasha (30) of Mysannagudem in Jangareddigudem mandal had started manufacturing fake currency in the denomination of Rs 500, Rs 100, Rs 50 at mysannagudem village.

The accused within four months had echanged Rs ten lakh worth fake notes in various places, police added.
