Cache of arms and ammunition recovered in Poonch
Jammu, Aug 22: Army recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from a hideout in Keri area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir last night, sources today said.
Defence sources told that army, during a routine search operation in Keri forests found a hideout of militants and recovered one AK rifle, three AK magazines and 42 rounds, one loaded pistol, 18 rounds of pika gun, 17 rounds 303 gun, one clamour mine, four hand grenades and two improvised electronic device (IED) switches.
The militants fled from the hideout minutes before the army combing team detected the hideout.
