Three soldiers killed in Kashmir accident
Baramulla, Aug 21 (UNI) Three soldiers of 419 field Ambulance Regiment were killed when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge in border town of Uri today, official sources said.
They said an army mini-truck on way to Baramulla from Uri skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Thajwani village near at around 0830 hrs resulting in on the spot death of two soldiers and wounding another.
The wounded soldier was rushed to 92 Base Hospital, Srinagar where he died this evening.
The deceased were identified as--- Sepoy driver Showkat Ali, Sepoy D M Kundree and Lance Naik M M Sangpal---, they added.
