SWEC, GAIL sign agreement

New Delhi, Aug 21: Silver Wave Energy Cooperation (SWEC), Myanmar has signed an agreement of Cooperation and Non-Disclosure with global energy major GAIL (India) Ltd.

In view of hydrocarbon potentiality, SWEC has set up businesses in Myanmar in Ship Building Trading and Energy sectors to enhance its activities both locally and in neighbouring countries.

The agreement will enable SWEC and GAIL to jointly participate in projects of energy exploration and production in Myanmar, India and other countries.

SWEC Managing Director Minn Minn Oung and GAIL, its ED (E&P) R D Goyal signed the agreement.
