Rs 36 Crores will be spent for infrastructure development in Talakad
Mysore, Aug 21 (UNI) The Karnataka Government will be spending Rs 36 Crores for building infrastructure in Talakadu where the Panchalinga Darshana will be held in November this year, Public Works Minister H D Revanna said today.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that the Panchalinga Darshana, which was held once in 12 years depending on the configuration of the planets, will be held on the lines of Mahamasthakabhisheka held to monolithic statue Lord Bahubali at Shravanabelagola.
"The State government has geared up to provide all necessary infrastructural facilities to make the event a memorable one on the eve of the 'Suvarana Karnataka'--50 years of formation of the State", he added.
All the temples in Talakadu would be given a facelift and kept ready for the Panchalinga Darshana for the devotees coming from the all over the country.
