Protest resorted against Pepsico in AP

Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh Aug 21 (UNI) More than 100 activists belonging to AISF, AIYF, AITUC and Mahila Morcha, staged a dharna before the Sub-Collector's office here today demanding ban on soft drinks Coco Cola and Pepsi.

The agitators demanded the State Goverenment to ban the sale of such drinks as several states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Karnataka and Rajasthan, had already banned them.

They demanded the State Government to follow the footsteps of other states.
