Militants kill one in Kashmir Valley

Srinagar, Aug 21: Militants shot dead a person in north Kashmir's Pattan area last night, official sources said today.

Sources said the militants shot at and critically wounded Abdul Rashid Mir, near his house at Shriwara Pattan in Baramulla district of north Kashmir late last night.

Mir was immediately evacuated to Shar-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, here, where he succumbed to his injuries, the sources said.
