Intl drug ring had MP link

Indore, Aug 21 (UNI) An international drug ring had links with Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital where a Delhi Police team arrested a medicine manufacturer in this connection.

Kailash Jindal -- who was apprehended on August 17 -- owns D J Lab, which manufactured injections and other products at the nearby Pithampur Industrial Area. Delhi Police raided the unit and also Jindal's outlet at Dawa Bazaar. A local court handed down transit remand the following day.

Delhi Police yesterday busted an international drug ring by arresting four people and seizing five million dollars worth of the Chinese drug ephedrine besides 3 kg hashish. Jindal, also a self-styled journalist associated with an Ujjain-based newspaper, was part of the gang.
