Doc's obscenity proves costly

Sehore, MP, Aug 21 (UNI) A private medical practitioner was assaulted, his face blackened, garlanded with shoes, paraded and handed over to the police by villagers for allegedly indulging in an obscene act with a rural woman at this district's Bawri village.

The victim came from a nearby village yesterday along with a child to obtain treatment for herself and the kid but was targeted by Dr S S Johri. The woman raised the alarm and a crowd gathered on the scene.

The doctor was later arrested.
