BJS workers arrested for anti-Shahrukh protest
Indore, Aug 21 (UNI) Eleven Bharatiya Jana Shakti (BJS) activists were arrested today after they damaged a local cinema hall in an attempt to halt screening of the Shahrukh Khan-starrer 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' in protest against the actor's comment regarding the pesticide-cola controversy.
''The arrests were executed at Regal hall. Glass was shattered but the show continued. Police 'bandobast' has been made strict at halls screening Shahrukh movies,'' said SP Rajesh Hingankar.
The Uma Bharti-led BJS had given the actor eight days to apologise and warned that screening would be halted otherwise.
