Ancient Jain idols recovered

Shivpuri, MP, Aug 21 (UNI) Two persons were arrested in connection with the theft of this district's Achrauli village's roughly 500-year-old Jain idols that have been recovered, police said.

The idols, stolen on July 15, were unearthed yesterday following the confession of a thief apprehended by Uttar Pradesh Police while attempting to sell the idols, silver and a throne.

Miniaz Khan and Rajeev were arrested while Vikas Jatav is missing.
