AIADMK member's suspension revoked

Chennai, Aug 21 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Assembly today adopted a resolution revoking the suspension of AIADMK member Agri S S Krishnamurthy for the rest of the session.

The resolution was passed by voice vote after Electricity Minister Arcot N Veerasamy, with the consent of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, urged Speaker R Avudaiyappan to revoke the suspension.

The Speaker said Krishnamurthy could attend the House from tomorrow.

The Speaker suspended the member on August 12 for the rest of the budget session, for using abusive language in the House.
