5 shops gutted in Dimapur, Nagaland

Kohima, Aug 21: A major fire broke out in the Veterinary Colony road of Dimapur town in Nagaland at the wee hours today.

Five shops were completely destroyed.

However, no casualty was reported.

Official sources said property worth several lakhs were reduced to ashes.

Four fire tenders were pressed into service.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be short circuit.

The investigation is on.
