5 shops gutted in Dimapur

Kohima, Aug 21 (UNI) Five shops were completely destroyed in a major fire that broke out in the Veterinary Colony road of Dimapur town in Nagaland this morning.

However, no casualty was reported.

Official sources said property worth several lakhs were reduced to ashes.

Four fire tenders were pressed into service.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be short circuit.

However, the investigation was on.
