2 killed, one seriously hurt as lorry hits them

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, Aug 21 (UNI) A 50-year-old woman and her grandson were killed and grand daughter seriously injured when a lorry hit them at Sittalur, near Vriddachalam in the district today.

Police said Anjalai and her grandchildren Ethiraj (3) and Ezhilarasi (5) were wating for a bus when a speeding lorry hit them.

Anjalai and Ethiraj were killed on the spot and Ezhilarasi seriously injured. She was rushed to the Vriddachalam General Hospital for treatment.
