2 die in accident

Cuddalore, Aug 21 (UNI) Two persons travelling on a two-wheeler were killed when they were hit by a sugarcane-laden tractor near Veppur on the Villupuram-Tiruchirapalli Highway this evening.

The two, Paramasivam (21) and Muthusamy (22), were proceeding to Athiyur when the mishap occurred. They were killed on the spot.

The bodies were taken to the Vriddhachalam Government Hospital for post-mortem.
