Thar Express service affected by flood

Jaisalmer, Aug 20 (UNI) The Thar Express returning from Pakistan after its maiden journey was delayed by over 18 hours affected by the flood in western part of Rajasthan.

According to Railway sources, the train was delayed as soil under the rail line was washed away due to heavy rains.

Sources said the train was stopped at Jasai railway station near Barmer and renewed its journey for Barmer after the rail line was repaired.
