TDP MP cremated

Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 20 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP K Pyditalli Naidu who died yesterday, was cremated with state honours at his native place Gantyada this evening.

Many political leaders, including TDP Supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, Parliamentary party leader Yerran Naidu and former Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju attended the funeral. State Marketing Minister B Satyanarayan attended the funeral on behalf of the AP State Government. The leaders paid their last respects to the departed leader.

Later, Mr Naidu said the party would urge the state government to name a welfare scheme in the district after Pyditalli Naidu and added that TDP would construct a memorial pillar.
