Sajjad prepares roadmap on Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 20 (UNI) The People's Conference, led by Sajjad Ghani Lone, has prepared a roadmap for finding an amicable and permanent solution to the Kashmir issue.

A party statement said the roadmap has been divided into five sections - historical perspective, empirical evidence, psychological and reality variables, current scenario and eclectic model.

It said the eclectic model signifies the culmination of the roadmap in the form of a solution and was an attempt to realistically evaluate the variance in sentiments.

The document of 4000 words also presents an evolving process of accommodation of the claims of all the parties in accordance with the variance in the sentiments, the statement added.

It said the roadmap has evolved against abstract settings of the invisible dimensions of the dispute.

The roadmap was put before the People's Conference General Council which gave some suggestions to be incorporated in it. The final version would be put before the Central Working Committee on September 5 for consultations and approval, the statement said.
