MP Govt insensitive towards flood victims: Cong

Barwani, MP, Aug 20 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress has accused the state government of being insensitive towards the plight of flood-affected victims.

After visiting the areas affected by heavy rain and flood, state Congress President Subhash Yadav told reporters last night that relief amount was not being distributed among the flood-affected, who were left on their own.

He expressed surprise over the government not calling an all party meeting in view of the natural calamity.

Mr Yadav said he was doing politics over the issue but was putting forward his point based on his visit of flood-affected areas.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Parliamentary Cell President Krishnamurari Moghe said the BJP was providing all help to the flood-affected, and relief distribution was being carried out on war footing.
