100 kg narcotics seized in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 20: In one of the biggest narcotics hauls in the capital, Delhi Police recovered 100 kg of narcotics worth Rs.1 billion (.5 million) and arrested four people, including a non-resident Indian from Canada.

Police said the men were arrested near the Indira Gandhi International Airport after a raid. Officials said three of the men belonged to Punjab.

In the past 19 months, over 180 foreign nationals have been arrested in the capital on charges of possession and peddling in narcotics.
