10 hurt in mishap

Tirupati, Aug 20 (UNI) Ten pilgrims belonging to Coimbatore were injured, two of them seriously, when an APSRTC bus in which they were travelling hit a stationary tipper lorry at Tirumala Ghat Road here today.

Police here said the mishap occurred when the bus proceeding to here from Tirumala hit the sand-laden lorry.

The injured persons, who earlier offered worship at Tirumala, were admitted to the Government Ruia Hospital here.
