Youth found dead on platform

Gorakhpur, Aug 19 (UNI) A youth was found dead on the platform of Gorakhpur Railway Station here last night, police said today.

A ticket from Goa to Gorakhpur and Rs 1,000 in cash were recovered from the spot.

The youth was identified as Ashok Pandey (20) of Pakadiha village in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh.

The body bore no injury marks and the cause of death is still to be ascertained. The body had been sent for autopsy, police said.
