UFCBU to strike work on August 22, 23
Mumbai, Aug 19 (UNI) The United Forum of Central Bank Unions (UFCBU), representing over 33,000 employees, has decided to hold two-day strike on August 22 and 23 across the country protesting against the ''anti-labour policies'' of Central Bank management.
All India Bank Officers' Association (AIBOA) has also decided to extend its support to the UFCBU in Central Bank of India, said a press release issued by AIBOA (Maharashtra State).
The strike call had been given by the Union for restoration of bilateralism and trade union rights in the Central Bank of India amongst others.
