Lodha-Birla case: hearing adjourned

Kolkata, Aug 19 (UNI) The complaint filed against Mr R S Lodha and others by R P Pamsaro came for hearing today before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore.

The petition of Mr Lodha and others, to be represented by their lawyers, had been allowed earlier.

The petition for search was being heard currently.

The matter was fixed for further hearing on September 2, 2006.

The Supreme Court had earlier ruled that it was not making any finding and that all contentions advanced by the two sides would be left open to be argued before the appropriate forum.
