JD(U) suspends Sunil Pandey

Patna, Aug 19 (UNI) JD(U) president Sharad Yadav today suspended legislator Narendra Singh alias Sunil Pandey from the party's membership.

JD(U) Secretary and spokesperson Shambhu Sharan Srivastav said Mr Pandey was suspended following recommendation of party state unit chief general secretary Upendra Kushwaha.

The party on Thursday had suspended another legislator Chhedi Paswan from the party membership for anti-party activities. Mr Paswan had given a statement against the party's parliamentary board leader Prahbunath Singh and state president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh.
