GDL inaugurates sixth warehouse in their CFS

Mumbai, Aug 19: Gateway Distriparks Ltd (GDL), a leading port based logistics facilitator, today inaugurated a sixth warehouse in their Container Freight Station (CFS) at Dronagiri, about nine KM from the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNP) here in Navi Mumbai.

Spread over an area of 2,400 sq meter, the new warehouse will have a capacity to handle 800 TEUs per month, thus increasing the total container handling capacity at JNPT to 2,16,000 TEU's per annum.

GDL is a multi-location port-related CFS-cum-logistics company providing Container Freight Station (CFS) Inland Container Depot (ICD) services. It operates one of the largest CFSs at the premier gateway port of JNPT. It also operates one of the largest CFSs at the premier gateway port of JNPT.

Speaking at the inauguration Capt Christopher S verma, Chief Executive Officer, Gateway Distriparks Ltd, said, ''Booming export trade coupled with the thir terminal at JNPT has led to a massive increase in containerised cargo. This organic growth at minimal incremental cost will not only help us cater to the burgeoing demand but further increase our market share at JNPT.''
