Weathermen forecast a sunny day tommorow

Kolkata, Aug 18 (UNI) With dark clouds covering the sky completely, the sun seemed to have a tough time to make a show even today.

The depression occurred in the coastal Orissa had moved in a north westerly direction extending upto the north West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and gangetic West Bengal and is likely to weaken in few days, the Met department said.

The low pressure had resulted in a gloomy weather in Kolkata and would cause few spells of rain in the next few hours, the weatherman said.

However, they have forecast a clear and sunny day tomorrow with no rainfall.

The maximum temperature remained the same as yesterday's at 29 degree Celsius with a slump in the lowest temperature at 24 degrees.
