VP Singh arrested leading campaign for tilling Reliance land

New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) Former Prime Minister V P Singh, Lok Sabha member Raj Babbar and other Jan Morcha leaders were arrested this morning while they were on their way to till the land acquired by Reliance company for the Dadri power project in Ghaziabad district.

Mr Singh was taken to Vasundra Rest House and other leaders were lodged at Pilkuan police station in the district, preliminary reports said.

As per the plan about 2000 farmers and protesters assembled to till soil in Bajehra Khurd village.
