Temple blast toll rises to five

Imphal, Aug 18 (UNI) A 24-year-old woman, who sustained injuries in the August 16 grenade blast at ISKCON temple complex, died today at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS) raising the toll to five.

Thongam Ranjita of Langjing Achouba, Imphal, succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

Other blast victims, some of them critically injured, were in four hospitals in Manipur.

Tension prevailed at Langjing Achouba after the news of Ranjita's death came in. People of the area blocked the road to protest the attack.
