Sulphuric acid leak causes panic at Kakkanad

Kochi, Aug 18 (UNI) A leak from a tanker lorry carrying 8,000 litre of sulphuric acid to the Ambalamedu Plant of the Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) caused panic this morning.

The leak was noticed when the tanker lorry from the FACT's Udyogamandal Plant reached Kakkanad, police said.
