Rupee opens six paise weak at 46.50/51/USD

Mumbai, Aug 18: The Indian currency today opened weak by six paise at Rs 46.50/51 per US dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.44 per US dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade, rupee was trading at 46.48/49 per US Dollar.

The BSE stock market too opened in the green by 22 points and is currently trading at 11,486 points which is nine points more from the previous close.
