Rajiv Yatra begins

Kancheepuram, Aug 18 (UNI) The 'Rajiv Gandhi Yatra,' commemorating the 63rd birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister, was flagged off by TNCC President M Krishnasswamy last evening at Sriperumbudur, near here.

The yatra started from the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial after Mr Krishnasswamy lit the torch and handed it over to TNCC Labour Wing Convenor, S S Prakasam.

The yatra will pass through various parts of the country before reaching the national capital.
