Pantaloon to consider fund raising on Aug 24

New Delhi, Aug 18: Pantaloon Retail India today said its board will meet on August 24, to consider raising of funds for the expansion plans.

''A meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on August 24, 2006, to consider means of raising finances for the expansion plans of the company,'' a Pantaloon statement said.

The retail major is on an expansion spree as it has tied up with domestic and foreign labels including Singapore-based CapitaLand Ltd, Ruchi Soya, Blue Foods and Manipal Health Systems, in the last few months.
