Mah CM administers 'sadhbhawana' pledge

Mumbai, Aug 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today administered the 'sadbhawana' pledge at the State Secretariat to mark the 62nd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi, which falls on Sunday.

The pledge taken every year on this occasion is to work for upholding the unity and integrity of the nation, irrespective of the cultural, religious and language diversity in the society and resolving differences through peaceful and amicable means, without resorting to communal divide.

Mr Deshmukh administered the pledge to his ministerial colleagues, senior bureaucrats and Government employees.
