Haryana police on hunt for taekwondo coach in rape case

Chandigarh, Aug 18 (UNI) Taekwondo coach Subhash Yogi, who has been booked for allegedly raping his student player in Gurgaon, was still at large.

Two Haryana police teams have been sent to Jhunjhunu, the native town of Subhash Yogi, in Rajasthan to arrest him and his two other accused brothers Dharam Pal and Pratap.

An FIR had been lodged against the three under sections 376, 120 and 342 of IPC following a complaint by the victim girl at Sector 5 police station in Gurgaon.

She had stated in her complaint that her coach Subhash Yogi and his two brothers had raped her several times since July 22, according to the police.

The complainant had urged the police not to reveal her name in public, a senior police official told UNI.
